About Comp-U-Rent

Comp-U-Rent was formed in the spring of 1996 by William “Bill” Thornton. Bill was working for a statewide rental giant when he saw the market beginning to explode in the mid-nineties. He also saw that not many rental companies were giving the high-tech computer market the attention it deserved. Companies that were renting to the high-tech markets weren't keeping up with the constantly evolving new technologies.

Bill had a vision. He wanted to create a company specifically focused on providing affordable high-tech equipment and computer and laptop rentals from the individual to the corporate level. We currently have a full spectrum of clients compiled of many local convention facilities, hotels and corporations. Many companies utilize our services for in-house training and new employee implementation.

Computer hardware is one of the only consumer purchases that you can buy more of tomorrow with less money. With this formula in place, hardware becoming outdated isn't a possibility, it’s inevitable. Comp-u-Rent is always updating their hardware and reinvesting in the latest technology.
